Scam Alert: Remote Access Scams
Mar 11 2026

Mar 17 2026
The easiest way for a scammer to take your money is by gaining access to your personal information. So, they are always looking for ways to trick people into providing logins, passwords and one-time security codes to access bank accounts, email and other digital profiles.
Remember this: Your bank and any fraud-protection organizations will NEVER ask for your account login, password or one-time security code. There is no legitimate reason for anyone to ever ask you to provide this information. It should ALWAYS remain confidential.
If you are contacted by someone who claims to be associated with your bank and they ask for account details or personal information, hang up and call the bank at a phone number you know to be legitimate. We welcome your call and are happy to help keep your accounts safe.
If you think you’ve fallen victim to a scam, call your local branch or our Customer Care Center at 888-816-8064 for assistance.
